The UC3M organises online open days

The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is organising online open days on the 22nd and 29th May. These days are aimed at prospective students and their families as a way of giving them information and answering questions in real time regarding the University’s degrees and programmes of study for the next academic year. These meetings will be done virtually due to the situation caused by the COVID-19 health crisis and will be carried out by those responsible for the various degrees offered by the University for the 2020/21 academic year.

To attend these online open days you will need to enrol yourself before 20th May using this link. Here you can also take part in a virtual tour of the facilities, see pictures of the campus and its laboratories, as well as access multimedia information about the University’s general services, such as cultural and sporting activities, libraries, halls of residence, etc.

The virtual meetings will be done by the department head of the degree and will allow you to get to know more about the structure of the degrees, study programmes, subjects, applicant’s profile, and career opportunities, among other things. In addition to this, attendees will be able to ask questions in real time through the platform. In order to take part, you will need a computer, tablet, or mobile device with an internet connection and in order to be able to ask questions, you will need a microphone and web cam, although the latter is optional.

Interdisciplinary and internationalisation

The UC3M is committed to interdisciplinary, internationalisation and alliance with other institutions in its new degree offerings, with four new degrees for the 2020/21 academic year. There is a new Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences which has been developed together with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). As well as two new Double Bachelor’s Degrees in Data Science and Engineering and Telecommunications Technologies and in Physics Engineering and Industrial Technologies Engineering. Finally, there is a new international Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration provided by the UC3M and in Management provided by the ESCP Business School. These new developments reinforce the University's offer of a bilingual education, one of the largest among Spanish public universities, as 78% of its degrees can be studied in English or bilingually. 

The UC3M is a Spanish public university which excels in teaching, research, and innovation.
