Three of the UC3M’s degree courses are the best in Spain, according to this ranking: Business Administration & Management, Finance & Accounting and Telematics Engineering. Four of its degrees came second: Film, Television & Media Studies, Law, Economics and Electrical Engineering. Communication System Engineering and Labour Relations came third; Mechanical Engineering came fourth, and Political Science, Computer Science & Engineering and Telecommunication Technologies Engineering came fifth.

The 19th edition of this ranking is the result of the analysis of 25 selection criteria, the opinion of over 2,000 lecturers (which makes up 40% of the final evaluation) and other indicators, such as: university demand, human and physical resources, curriculums, graduation rates, research projects, internationalisation, results in international rankings, etc. Based on this, a general university ranking is established, which takes into account the number of degree courses that have been ranked in the top positions.

Only some of the UC3M’s degree courses can compete in this ranking, as it doesn’t offer all the degrees being evaluated. Despite this, UC3M was ranked fifth nationally for the number of outstanding degrees.

The UC3M is the top Spanish university in the QS Top 50 Under 50 ranking, which gathers the 50 best young universities in the world which are under 50 years old. It has a wide range of studies in English (72% of its degree courses can be studied in English or bilingually) and a high rate of employment (92.2% of its graduates access the job market in the first year following their graduation).
