UC3M’s Institute of Business Development (INDEM) is providing courses that focus on various subjects related to the business world and innovation, such as the analysis of social networks applied to Twitter, auditing and accounting, business management in the 21st century (Smart Cities, Big Data and the Internet of Things), portfolio management (hedge funds and investment funds) in financial markets, risk management in financial markets, and quantitative analysis in business economics with SPSS.

The Law Summer School is a programme organised by UC3M’s Private Law Department in conjunction with the Seattle University School of Law (USA) which consists of two courses delivered through English. It takes place during the month of July and is aimed at students from all over the world and accredited by the American Bar Association.

UC3M’s Carlos International School designs customised courses tailored to the profiles of the participants at the request of the centres, universities and companies with which it collaborates. The courses are aimed at international teachers, students and professionals and they take place throughout the year. This summer, two will be held: "Communications for businesses", which is organised in conjunction with CIEE Study Abroad; and "New Technologies: benefits and applications for the development of society", which will run from the 6th to the 14th of July.

UC3M’s Language Centre has a wide range of courses available during the summer. In June and July, they are running intensive 40-hour German, French, Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese courses. Courses are also offered which are aimed at secondary level students so they can learn English or prepare for the B2 First exam.
