First year of the UC3M-EFE Masters in Agency Journalism

EFE’s Masters in Agency Journalism begins a new phase with Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) as an academic partner. The course runs for thirteen months and is aimed at graduates who wish to be trained in all areas of agency journalism.
The first seven months consists of classes and workshops delivered by UC3M professors and EFE staff and will give students the opportunity to learn the agency journalism style and working methods: editing news text, photography, audiovisual, data journalism and social networks.
During the last six months of the masters, students will take paid internships at the EFE Agency, both at its central office in Madrid and at its national and international branch offices.
With the launch of this master's course, UC3M, one of the 30 best young universities in the world according to the QS ranking, and EFE, the leading news agency in Spanish with a global network of journalists working from more than 180 cities in 120 countries, are joining forces to help train professionals who specialise in quality news reporting.
The classes, which will begin on the 5th of November of this year, will be delivered at the EFE Agency's central office in Madrid and at UC3M’s Getafe campus. The period to pre-register for enrolment begins this week and ends on the 15th of July.
