Through this program, the participants will be able to have a university experience in the lecture halls and laboratories at UC3M. They will also be able to visit technology companies, learn how to build a plane with lightweight structures, create their own app, develop a robot or learn the basics for designing a computer. In addition, those who would like to can enjoy a multi-adventure weekend. For the first time, this year an entrepreneurship module has been incorporated, which will enable boys and girls to learn to be proactive and resolve problems by working in a team.

“It is about promoting the STEM professions (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The teenagers can share their technology and science inquisitiveness with students from different regions of Spain and it creates the ideal environment to stimulate vocations in these knowledge areas.

The aim of this program, which is developed by university professors from different departments, is to encourage interest in engineering, science and technology among all high school students. This edition has fifty places each week and the participants can choose between three technology modules: one focused on robotics and 3D design; another focused on cyber security and design of mobile applications; and a third specialising in electronics, networks, Internet and telecommunications. An entrepreneurship workshop will be included in each of these modules, where participants will learn to be proactive and resolve problems by working in teams. In addition, there will be a space reserved for cultural activities in Madrid, such as playing sport, swimming, playing games and gymkhanas. Through all of this Tecnocamp aims to stimulate creativity, participation and curiosity, entrepreneurship and teamwork.
