The President of Portugal visited the UC3M
He deliver a lecture on relations between Europe and Ibero-America

The President of the Republic of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, visited the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) to deliver a lecture on relations between Europe and Ibero-America to students taking the University’s Master's Degree in Legal Advice to Businesses.
The event, which was held at the Madrid-Puerta de Toledo campus, was formally opened by the University rector, Juan Romo, and was attended by the directors of the Master’s course, César Giner and Víctor Catena, as well as the president of the Business Academic Board of this postgraduate programme, Antonio Basagoiti. The President of the Portuguese Republic delivered this lecture as part of his state visit to Spain from the 16th to the 18th of April.
In his presentation at UC3M, the Portuguese president elaborated on some of the main challenges that institutions face when promoting relations between Spain, Portugal and the European Union and Latin America.
This event was organised by UC3M ‘s Master's Degree in Legal Advice to Businesses through its "Alumni Club for Europe", with the support of the Business Academic Board of this postgraduate programme.
