Nearly 90% of UC3M degree holders find work the first year after graduation

For the fifth consecutive year, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) shows a nearly 90% job placement rate for its graduates. This is the conclusion of the XXI Estudio de Inserción Profesional de la UC3M, put together by the Fundación Universidad Carlos III and the Servicio de Orientación y Empleo (Career Counseling and Employment Services) in collaboration with Accenture.
Regarding the socio-professional profile, 92% of degree holders joined private companies (especially multi-national ones) carrying out job responsibilities closely linked to their academic education. In fact, in 84.8% of the cases, the jobs were related to their degree studies. The highest job placement rates correspond to advising, consultancy, judiciary, industry, manufacturing, and logistics services. As for salary, more than half of the graduates earn a monthly net income of more than 1,200 euros.
The degree of satisfaction with the University, in general terms, is very high. From a sample of 1,077 degree holders from 24 Bachelor’s degree and 6 dual degree programs, 93% would choose UC3M again for pursuing their studies, with 96% recommending this institution. The University’s prestige, and the complementary activities and resources available to students, are the main advantages for those surveyed.
UC3M considers the job placement of its graduates to be one of its priority strategic lines and collaborates with over 6,000 companies. Its Servicio de Orientación y Empleo foments access to the job market and employment of graduates through different internship programs, its job bank and the Foroempleo (First Job Fair).
