Application for academic year 2016/2017 can be made until May 30 for some of the UC3M Master’s degrees: 64 official Master’s programs and 41 UC3M-accredited Master’s programs (the application period will be extended in the exceptional case of places not being filled). Approximately 15% of the programs are taught in both English and Spanish, while 20% are taught solely in English.  Proof of the international renown of these Master’s programs is the increment of foreign student applications, which has converted the UC3M classroom into a multicultural space.

UC3M boosts and promotes internationalization of these study programs.  Students from abroad make up 27.1% of the total number of those enrolled in official Master’s programs this current academic year.  The main European countries of origin are Germany and Italy while a significant percentage of students come from countries such as China, Colombia and Peru. The overwhelming majority of the UC3M Master’s programs offer professional internships in companies thanks to the 3,000 agreements between the University and diverse businesses and institutions. The renowned prestige of UC3M faculty together with its close-knit links to companies guarantees that program contents are in line with the demands of today’s job market.

The UC3M Master’s programs exist within a framework of teaching quality and innovation, with a clear international commitment.  Learning is managed from within the Doctoral Schools in Law, Business and Economics; Communication, Humanities and Social Sciences; Engineering and Basic Sciences, and the School of Lifelong Learning.

Some of the UC3M Master’s programs have received important international accreditation such as its MBA program, accredited since 2006 by the prestigious Association of MBAs (AMBA). UC3M is also the only public Spanish university with its MBA program accredited by this association.  Furthermore, Universidad Carlos III provides a wide range of services for sports and cultural activities.

In the coming academic year, UC3M will offer eight new University Master’s degrees in Social Sciences, Communication and Advertising, Administrative Management, Computing Technologies applied to the Financial Sector, Smart Grid Technologies, Mobile Technologies and Services, Transparency and Good Governance, Sustainable Urbanism and Urban Policies. In addition, the University will offer three new UC3M-accredited Master’s programs:  Specialist in Public Affairs and Lobbying, Expert in International Business, and Master’s in Electoral and Political Analysis.
