Competencies:

The Rector is the highest academic and government authority of the University, exercises his direction and shows his representation. Likewise, it presides over the University Senate, the Governing Council, the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board, as well as, with the exception of the Social Council, any other bodies of the University when it attends its sessions, and executes its agreements assisted by it.
