Caterina del Carmen Chirico Rodríguez

Caterina Chirico obtained her Bachelor´s Degree in Materials Engineering from the  Universidad Simón Bolívar de Venezuela (USB) and she completed her studies of Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). Nowadays, she works as Ph.D. student at powder technology research group in UC3M. Her research areas are mainly focused on the Development of titanium beta alloys (Ti-Nb) by Powder metallurgy.

  • Materials Engineering Bachelor Degree (Universidad Simón Bolívar de Venezuela)(2008-2015).

Current Position

  • Ph.D. Materials Science and Engineering (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid).
  • Development of titanium beta alloys (Ti-Nb) by powder metallurgy.
