Andrea Alcántara obtained her Masters´s Degree in Quemistry from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Nowadays she works as a Ph.D. student at powder technology research group in UC3M. Her research area is mainly focused on organic–inorganic hybrid sol–gel coatings for corrosion protection.
