Admission

A commission appointed by the Rector will review all applications and make the final admission decision. This commission will take into account the grade point average and grades for subjects considered importants for success in the first year of university studies.

Applicants will be notified of the admission decision by e-mail. A letter will also be sent by mail.

 

International Foundation Programs

If a student is not admitted to the degree of their choosing, they may be admitted to International Foundation Programs, taught by the Carlos III International School.

If the International Foundation Programs is succesfully completed, it will guarantee admission to UC3M form the following school year.

Reserving your place.

If you are admitted and choose to study at UC3M, a 300€ non.refundable down payment is required to reserve your place. This amount will be discounted of the total cost of your enrollment. The deadline to submit your down payment and reserve your place is 15 days from the notification of admission. Credit cards may be used to submit the payment.

The down payment is not defundable and will not be applied to tuition for future academic years if you choose to defer your enrollment. Specifically, not visa or recognition of studies doesn't entitle to a refund of reservation.

 

Enrollment

Final course enrollment takes place when you arrive at the university. We will inform you of the neccesary steps to take by e.mail. If you come from a non-spanish-speaking country, you will automatically be guaranteed a place in a english group, if there are any in your degree.
