New C3IS teaching model for the 2020/21 academic year

Preventive measures for bachelor degrees

    UC3M, 100% adapted

UC3M is prepared to move to a 100% online synchronous model, in case a new suspension of face-to-face teaching activity is decreed.

      Welcome back!

The International School welcomes again this new course 2020-2021 to the students of its programs adapted to the new rules and habits of protection, hygiene and social distancing, following the health crisis.

All classrooms have the necessary technological equipment to enable synchronous online monitoring of classes, especially for those international students who may be delayed in their arrival in Spain as a result of the halting of visa procedures or temporary closure of borders. In these cases, classes would also be recorded to save time zones.

C3IS will maintain the presence of all its programs as long as the health security and social distancing measures are complied with at all times.

If this is not fully guaranteed, the option of making the model more flexible by dividing the students into two groups would be considered:

      • One group will receive the class in the classroom
      • One group from home in synchronous online mode using the Blackboard Collaborate tool

      Training in distance learning applications

At the beginning of the course, the University will offer new students training sessions on the use of distance learning applications, coordinated by the UC3M Vice-Rector's Office for Strategy and Digital Education.
