For teaching and research the University has four libraries: Library of Social Sciences and Law, and Library of Humanities and Library and Information Science in Getafe, Library of Engineering in Leganés and the Library of Colmenarejo Campus.
The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid libraries offer users a collection of over 500,000 books in print, 12,0000 e-books, 5,200 journals and reviews in print, and access to approximately 30,000 e-journals and more than 100 data bases. Their opening hours are extended during exam period, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. .
