Mercedes Esteban-Bravo

Professor Mercedes Esteban-Bravo

Mercedes is Full Professor of Marketing and Market Research at Department of Business Administration at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She has a degree in Mathematics, specializing in Operations Research, and a PhD in Economics. 

Her area of specialization is Quantitative Marketing. She has published in journals such as Marketing Science, Journal of Advertising, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Marketing Letters, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, European Journal of Operational Research, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Statistics and Computing, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. 

She has broad experience teaching in undergraduate and graduate business degree programs. She is one of the authors of a book on "Marketing Research: Qualitative and Quantitative Methods", 2021, written with Jose M. Vidal-Sanz (uc3m), published at Cambridge University Press; and the proprietary software “Quantum” a Marketing Business Game, together with Nora Rita Lado Couste, and Jose M. Vidal Sanz. 

She has developed a wide international mobility, highlighting: Imperial College London, United Kingdom; Columbia Business School, NYC, USA and Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK. Since 2018, she is a Life Member of Clare Hall, College of the University of Cambridge.
