The UC3M joins the YUFE Townhall days

The YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) alliance, which the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a member of, on the first anniversary of its creation, is hosting a few different events to share the work carried out by its network during its first year. This event, called the YUFE Townhall, will take place on the 7th, 8th and 9th December and will be held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will consist of a series of sessions open to the public (prior registration on the event’s website) on the 7th and 8th December, while on the 8th and 9th December a series of closed sessions will be held exclusively for students, lecturers and YUFE university staff which will present the main activities undertaken by the group.
The first open session will focus on the goals achieved in this first year. During the second session, some partners and authorities in the European political and economic sector will assess the impact of European Universities contribution to employability and the regional economy. The third open session is being organised and sponsored by the YUFE Student Forum.
Members of the YUFE
The YUFE is an alliance of 10 young universities and leaders in research and teaching who aim to build a student-focused, open and inclusive European university. This alliance, based on the cooperation between higher educational institutions and the public and private sectors, aims to contribute to building a more diverse, effective and fairer education system at both a European and worldwide level.

Other collaborating partners include the Educational Testing Service Global, the European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME, the Kiron Open Higher Education for Refugees and the Adecco France group.
