UC3M, among the 10 best Spanish universities, according to the CYD Ranking

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is among the 10 top Spanish universities in number of high performance indicators, according to the latest edition of the Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo (Knowledge and Development) CYD Ranking.

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is among the 10 top Spanish universities in number of high performance indicators, according to the latest edition of the Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo (Knowledge and Development) CYD Ranking.

UC3M is first in “International Orientation”, ranks third in “Teaching and Learning” and holds the fourth spot in “Knowledge Transfer”, in accordance with its high performance indicators.

The CYD 2020 Ranking analyzes 37 indicators focused on five dimensions: research, teaching, international orientation, knowledge transfer, and contribution to regional development.

The CYD online ranking tool enables 25 areas of knowledge to be analyzed, eight of which are new or have been updated.  Among them, and because of its relative high performance indicators, UC3M holds 1st place in Business Administration and Management, 2nd place in Economics and Political Sciences  and 3rd place in Sociology. 

The CYD 2020 Ranking includes results on the performance of 76 Spanish universities (all the public - 48 -  and 28 private). This ranking is based on data from different sources: the institutions themselves; the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport; and bibliometric and patent data.
