The UC3M is presenting its postgraduate degrees in the 2019 Education Week

The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is presenting its postgraduate degrees, including over 110 masters and UC3M programmes, at the International Higher Education and Ongoing Training Fair held on 28th and 30th March at IFEMA, as part of the 2019 Education Week. What’s more, it is presenting six new masters and five new degrees from its School of Continuing Education.

The six new masters for the academic year 2019/2020 focus on the following topics: Accounting, Advanced Studies in Public Law, Connected Industry 4.0, Information Health Engineering, Space Engineering and Internet of Things: Applied Technologies.

The second admission period is currently open (until 31st March) for enrolment on masters courses for the academic year 2019/2020, as well as the deadline to apply for one of the 182 grants offered for the payment of the masters fees. There will later be a third enrolment period, from 1st April to  17th June, for courses with places still available.

The UC3M offers three types of university masters. Firstly, the research masters, focused on subsequently preparing for a dissertation. Secondly, those which allow you to carry out regulated professional activities. And thirdly, the academic-professional masters, with internships in companies and with high levels of employability.

New UC3M degrees

The UC3M’s School of Continuing Education from their School of Graduate Studies is also presenting its new offers at this Education Week fair, in order to respond to the growing need for specialised education in the context of a transforming economy and society. In this sense, it is launching five new UC3M courses: Master in Preservation of Audiovisual Archives, Master in International Communication in Europe, Master in Edition. Publishing in the 21st Century, Master in Law and Politics of Sustainable Development and the Expert Degree in New Ventures Creation in The Fashion and Lifestyle Industry.

The UC3M offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes. In total, over 60 university masters are taught in the fields of Law, Economy and Political Science, Business, Humanities and Communication and Engineering and Basic Sciences and over 50 UC3M programmes.

Throughout the academic year 2018/19, around 1,300 students and professionals from different countries have chosen the UC3M to complete their postgraduate education. 35% of the more than 110 UC3M masters and degrees are taught bilingually or in English. Latin-American students represent the largest community, along with a significant number of European students mainly in the areas of Economics, Business and Engineering.
