New admission and grant deadline open for UC3M masters

The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) has opened the second admission period (up to 31 st March) to enrol on university masters courses for the academic year 2019/2020, as well as the deadline to request one of the 182 grants offered for the payment of the masters fees. There will later be a third enrolment period, from 1 st April to 17 th June, for courses with places still available.

The UC3M offers three types of university masters. Firstly, the research masters, focused on subsequently preparing for a dissertation. Secondly, those which allow you to carry out regulated professional activities. And thirdly, the academic-professional masters, with internships in companies and with high levels of employability. During the first admission period, closed on 31 st January, a total of 1,240 applications were received, which shows a 107 per cent increase in the demand compared to last year.

The UC3M offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes. In total, over 60 university masters are taught in the fields of Law, Economy and Political Science, Business, Humanities and Communication and Engineering and Basic Sciences and over 50 UC3M programmes.

Throughout the academic year 2018/19, around 1,300 international students and professionals from different countries have chosen the UC3M to complete their postgraduate education. 35% of the more than 110 UC3M masters and degrees are taught bilingually or in English. Latin-American students represent the largest community, along with a significant number of European students mainly in the areas of Economics, Business and Engineering.

New degrees

The UC3M presents six new university masters for the academic year 2019/2020, which are focused on the following subjects: Accounting, Advanced Studies in Public Law, Connected Industry 4.0, Information Health Engineering, Space Engineering and the Internet of Things: Applied Technologies.

The UC3M’s School of Continuing Education also has new offers for the upcoming academic year, with the aim of responding to the growing need for specialised education in the context of a transforming economy and society. In this sense, it is launching five new UC3M courses: Master in Preservation of Audiovisual Archives, Master in International Communication in Europe, Master in Edition. Publishing in the 21 st Century, Master in Law and Politics of Sustainable Development and the Expert Degree in New Ventures Creation in The Fashion and Lifestyle Industry.
