The UC3M hosts Forempleo 2018

The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is hosting a new edition of Forempleo, the First Employment Fair for university students and recent graduates. It will take place on the 3 rd and 4 th of October on its Leganés campus and admission will be free for students from any university.
This year, 120 companies will be present – the highest number of participants in recent years, with an increase of 10% over the previous year - from sectors such as automotion, banking, consultancy, consumption, law firms, distribution, engineering, telecommunications, etc. Students will be able to see first-hand how a professional career in companies like these types can be developed and what kind of profiles they are looking. In addition, they will have the opportunity to access to internships and employment contracts.
In a new development for this twenty-third edition, Forempleo is providing students with the option of conducting a mock interview or group session involving the human resources managers from six large companies.
The Bridge to Employment will be deployed for the third consecutive year at the Fair, given the success of previous years. Here students will be able to get a professional photo taken for free as well as a personal interview with a career guidance expert who, in addition to giving them advice, will help them review their CV and carry out an audit of their digital profile.
Conferences, selection processes and business meetings complete the programme of activities for students and recent graduates from any university and from anywhere in Spain who wish to visit Forempleo. For more information, see the event website.
The UC3M continues to achieve a high rate of employment placement for its students: 92.3 percent of its graduates found a job within one year following their graduation, according to the 12 th UC3M Professional Placement Study, carried out by the Universidad Carlos III Foundation through its Guidance and Employment Service and in collaboration with Accenture.
The UC3M views the labour market insertion of its graduates as one of its priority strategic lines. It has agreements with more than 6,000 companies and institutions so that its students can do internships and access the respective employment opportunities. It also has specific services to promote access and career advancement through different internship and employment opportunity programmes.
