The University provides you with an email account for academic and personal use.

Your email address is composed of your NIU (which consists of: 100 + the 6 digits of the NIA that appear on your registration form) followed by @alumnos.uc3m.es. An example would be 100123456@alumnos.uc3m.es.

It is very important that your email account is active and up to date, since your teachers and the administrative services of the University will contact you by this means.

Activate your account

In order to have your account available, you must have registered. Remember that you will not be able to activate it until the day after the registration as your data is sent to the mail server at night.

  • In the field "User Identifier" you must enter your NIU (the number that begins with 100XXXXXX), and in the field "Activation Key" you must enter the 4-digit code that we have given you to access the registration. If you don't remember any of the data, consulta la clave de 4 dígitos y el NIU
  • You will need to choose a password for your mail (characters must be in uppercase, lowercase, number and symbol).
  • You will also need to provide an alternate email address so that you can request a retrieval of your account if necessary.

To access Gmail, please enter your full email address (100XXXXXX@alumnos.uc3m.es) and the password you chose.

Access to Google platforms


For the rest of the online services (global classroom, library, timetable consultation, etc) you must use only the NIU (100XXXXXX) and the same password you have chosen for the mail.

To access, go to Gmail and login with your NIU (100XXXXXX@alumnos.uc3m.es) and your password.

For other online services (global classroom, library, timetable consultation, etc) you must use only the NIU (100XXXXXX) and the same password you have chosen for the mail.
