3/28/25

The Carlos III International School (C3IS) of the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) is continuing its internationalization strategy with a new student recruitment trip to Colombia, consolidating its presence in Latin America. This tour, which is the fifth recruitment trip so far this year, is being led by Guillermo Díaz, Recruitment Coordinator at C3IS, and will enable the school to strengthen ties with students, families and counsellors interested in the academic opportunities offered by UC3M.

The program of activities began on March 25 in Bogotá with a welcome cocktail and a networking session, before starting a tour of various educational institutions in the country. That same day, the Carlos III International School participated in educational fairs organized at the Gimnasio del Norte School and the Colombo Americano School, where it was able to interact directly with students interested in pursuing university studies in Spain.

On March 26, the agenda in the Colombian capital continued with participation in fairs at Gimnasio Campestre and Buckingham School, two prestigious institutions with international education programs. Afterwards, the UC3M recruitment team will travel to Cali, where on March 27th they will hold fairs at the British-Colombian School and the Gimnasio La Colina School, with the aim of continuing to promote access to higher education in Spain for Colombian students.

The format of the tour allows a group of universities to visit different schools that act as host centers, where in addition to receiving their own students, they also welcome students from other institutions who wish to learn more about international university options. This structure facilitates a greater reach and optimizes interaction with future university students, providing them with detailed information on academic programs, admission processes and student experiences at the Carlos III University of Madrid.

With this trip, the Carlos III International School reinforces its commitment to internationalization and its connection with Latin America, consolidating its position as one of the leading Spanish universities for Colombian students seeking a quality education in Europe.
