UC3M and UC Trust organize international meeting to connect talent and opportunities

Today, December 4, the Carlos III International School (C3IS) of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is hosting a special event in collaboration with the University of California Trust. The event, which will be held at UC3M's Puerta de Toledo Campus, promises to be a space for exchange and networking among students, alumni and professionals from various disciplines.
The event will begin at 18:00 and will be moderated by Álvaro Escribano, director of the Carlos III International School (C3IS). The day will include a Career Panel, where University of California alumni will share their experiences on how studying and working abroad transformed their career paths. Speakers include Patrick Byrne, partner at B. Cremades y Asociados, specializing in international arbitration; Sheetal Joshi, Director of International Business Development at UNIE University; Meredith Moore, Payments Manager in the EdTech sector and activist at Madrid for Refugees; and Andrew Vandenberg, Account Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, specializing in immunodiagnostics.
At 19:00, international analyst Alana Moceri, International Relations Professor at IE School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs, and commentator in media such as BBC and El Español, will offer a mini-talk on US-EU relations after the 2024 elections. Álvaro Escribano will be in charge of introducing Moceri and moderating the Q&A.
The closing of the event, scheduled for 7:40 p.m., will feature remarks by Greta Paa-Kerner, executive director of the UC Trust, who will invite attendees to participate in a networking reception with tapas and wine, designed to strengthen ties between students and alumni.
