Mission

The mission of the School of Graduate Studies is to offer high quality, accredited graduate education in diverse and interdisciplinary areas of study, while upholding highest ethical and educational standards with regard to serving and supporting our graduate students, faculty, and staff.

Our commitment

The School of Graduate Studies will:

  • Provide graduate program planning, developing masters programs each year in the areas of Law, Business and Economics, Humanities, Communication and Social Sciences, and Engineering and Basic Disciplines. In doing so, we will facilitate and encourage the development of interdisciplinary courses.
  • Administer graduate programs and ensure compliance with university policies pertaining to graduate education.
  • Collaborate with programs to develop and execute effective recruiting plans to ensure a high-quality and more diverse graduate student population.
  • Initiate innovative programs, sustain high-quality programs, and promote continuous improvement of all master’s- and pre-doctoral-level programs.
  • Identify grant and fellowship opportunities that are relevant for students, and provide them with timely and accurate information.
  • Develop long life learning programs adapted to the latest needs.
  • Promote collaboration between masters programs and firms, institutions and other social actors.
