Professor Antonio Romero Medina

Antonio Romero Medina holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Málaga and a Master's degree in Economic Analysis and a Ph.D. from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has conducted postdoctoral studies at the University of California Riverside as part of the Fulbright program. He has had research and/or teaching stays at institutions such as the University of Chile, Boston College, and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

His research focuses on the fields of market design, mechanism design, and implementation. He has gained international recognition for his publications in prominent journals such as the Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior, and Social Choice and Welfare.

Antonio Romero has collaborated with the Ministries of Science and Technology as well as Education and Science. He has served as the Director of the Ph.D. Program in Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as well as the Vice Dean of the Bachelor's Degree in Economics and the Double Degree in International Studies and Economics.
