Professor María del Carmen Crespo Mora

Carmen Crespo Mora is a tenured lecturer at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. With a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a PhD in Law from the same University, she was awarded the VII Sancho Rebullida Prize for the best doctoral thesis in Civil Law defended in her academic year.

Throughout her academic career she has spent several periods of time at universities and research centres of recognised prestige. He has also received several scholarships obtained in competitive competitions. These include the FPI grant, the Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral research grant and the Ramón y Cajal postdoctoral research grant. In 2015, the ANEP certified compliance with the quality requirements that imply an outstanding research career for the purposes of the I3 Programme.

Her main line of research has focused on civil liability, but she has also dealt with other areas of his discipline. She has combined her previous research work with teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, currently participating in various Master's degrees offered by both UC3M and other Spanish universities. Likewise, since 2017 she has been deputy director of the Master's Degree in Intellectual Property at UC3M.

She was director of the Revista Jurídica of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid for 5 years and is a member of the scientific and evaluation committee of several Spanish and foreign legal journals. She is a member of the Spanish Network of European and Comparative Private Law (REDPEC) since 2011.
