UC3M expands its graduate studies program

New master’s degrees for the academic year 2016/2017

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is expanding its program for graduate students with eight new master’s degrees: in Social Sciences, Advertising Communication, Business Management, Computer Technology Applied to the Financial Sector, Intelligent Electrical Grid Technology, Mobile Services and Technologies, Transparency and Good Government, Sustainable Urban Planning and Urban Policy. In addition, three new UC3M accredited degrees will also be introduced: Specialist in Public Affairs and Lobbying, Expert in International Business and Master’s in Electoral and Political Analysis.

The mission of the Graduate School (Centro de Postgrado) the management, organization, coordination and dissemination of university master’s degrees, UC3M accredited degrees and continuing education. It is organized in schools or subject areas for managing these and other university master’s degree. The newly offered graduate studies are organized in the following manner:

School of Law

University Master’s in Business Management
University Master’s in Transparency and Good Government
University Master’s in Sustainable Urban Planning and Urban Policy

School of Humanities, Communication and Social Sciences

University Master’s in Social Sciences
University Master’s in Advertising Communication

School of Engineering and Basic Sciences

University Master’s in Computer Technology Applied to the Financial Sector
University Master’s in Intelligent Electrical Grid Technology
University Master’s in Mobile Services and Technology

School of Continuing Education

Specialist in Public Affairs and Lobbying
Expert in International Business
Master’s in Electoral and Political Analysis

UC3M offers a total of 64 official master’s degrees (17 in Law; 12 in Economics and Business; 12 in Humanities, Communication, Documentation and Social Sciences; 23 in Engineering and Basic Sciences), in addition to 37 UC3M accredited degrees. Approximately 15 percent of all degrees are bilingual and around 20 percent are also offered in English.

Admission requirements and required documents vary according to the program.  The different requirements can be found in the section marked “admission” for each different program. The first application period is from January 11 to February 29, 2016.
