Living Madrid

Madrid is a lively and exciting city with a rich variety of cultural activities, and a rich artistic and cultural heritage. It has a reputation for being a very open and welcoming city which makes it possible to turn a short stay into an unforgettable life experience. Accomodation

The university does not directly provide accommodation for our students. However, the International Relations and Cooperation Office offers information to international students about university dormitories and other types of accommodation such as sharing flats with other students.

Cost of living

The average cost of living including housing (sharing flat), food, local bus/metro transportation and medical insurance is about 500-600 euros per month.

 

Insurance

The University does not offer health insurance to its students. Each student must arrange a contract with the insurance company of their choice. This can be done in the country of origin or once in Spain.

 

How to get UC3M?

The university has several different campuses in Madrid. The Master in Marketing facilities are located in the Puerta Toledo campus, which is located Madrid’s city centre.

 

ID Card

All students will receive a Carlos III University student ID card which will provide access to the Library, Student Residence Hall and University sports facilities.
