The syllabus is structured around compulsory and optional subjects relating to three fundamental blocks which are economics, business and law; as well as natural and cultural heritage. This potential enables students to acquire considerable skills and competence, both theoretical and practical, while at the same time designing their curriculum through diverse experiences which will culminate in a work placement and in a final dissertation which will contribute to completing their training  within the rich and productive scope of cultural and natural tourism. This is an innovative master's course and differs from most academic products offered to date, aiming to be as theoretically complete as possible, in addition to transversal and eminently practical in nature.

The students most interested in this course would be those with degrees and qualifications in Tourism, Business Administration and Management, Art History, Humanities, Geography, History, Law, Journalism and Media Studies as well as those with Tourism diplomas, MBAs, professionals in the tourism sector wishing to specialize in cultural and natural tourism, and any persons interested in this type of tourist sector for their general knowledge.

Job opportunities covered by the general guidelines of this master could be those relating to traditional or online travel agencies, particularly those concerned with new style travel and adventure, production and dissemination of multimedia, cultural and natural tourism material, all types of urban and natural tourist guides,  businesses in the sector, interpretation centers and museums, optimization of resources, in addition to new job openings and research and innovation, creating products linked to a wide cultural and natural range.
