If you are involved in any cultural activities, play sports or are active in student representation and cooperation you can obtain recognition ("convalidación" in Spanish) for 1 Humanities credit and up to 6 credits for optional subjects.
These include the following:

• Sports activities:  participation in sporting competitions, physical activities that involve training, obtaining medals etc.
• Cultural activities membership of the University orchestra, choir, theathre or dance group practical workshops of cultural and artistic activities,cultural passport, summer courses at the School of Arts, etc.
• Humanitarian and charitable activities: participation in activities on the disabled students support programme, mentoring between equals, drug addiction prevention programmes, voluntary work in external non-profit making entities, international cooperation projects etc
