  • Introduction

The increasing presence of Asia in Europe and of Europe in Asia is a key to understanding the current globalization environment. Therefore it is crucial for our business sector to know the fundamental criteria governing the Asian models of Management along with economic, political and international relations of the major countries and regions in Asia. Moreover, we should also be aware of their business protocols and cultures, which are so essential for success in the Asian entrepreneurial communication.

This is the structuring idea of the course Doing business with and in Asia, unique for its practical focus and for the high-level professional specialization of the lecturers. The course is aimed at business professionals with global perspectives and at Masters Students and Undergraduate Students in their last year of their degree program, wishing to reinforce their international profile. In this edition, a special focus will be placed on the following countries and regions: China, India, Japan, Korea and South-East Asia.

Co-directors: Jose Ramon Gutierrez and Yuko Morimoto.

Organizers: Carlos III International School in collaboration with INDEM (Instituto para el Desarrollo Empresarial).
