The Programme aims to enhance the contribution of the specialization in two directions: research and professional life, both aimed to provide the students with the necessary competences to develop research and professional duties.
The Programme is specially orientated to the management of digital contents in Public and private institutions as well as in libraries and archives. The final goal, in transmitting knowledge and developing abilities on management of contents by technological tools, would be the organization and representation ok knowledge for an improvement in the innovation processes of institutions. The result of the learning aims to provide the student with specific competences: academic, professional and knowledge-based:
- To know, to know where to find and learn how to apply the latest progresses in technologies of information.
To know, to learn and contribute from a critical or analytic thinking to the latest theories on organization, use and representation of information.
The ability to interpret, apply and innovate in the context of methodologies, technologies, politics and new methods of analysis, processing and recovering of information.

- The ability to make original contributions and to demonstrate creativity and innovation, specially applied to the processing, use and management of information.
