The Programme is placed within a scientific and technological scope, and the main aim is to provide an advanced training and the specialization in the field of Science and Engineering of Materials.
It is research oriented, although it also enjoys a professional orientation, providing both general and specific knowledge of Science and Engineering of Materials, as to be original in the development and application of ideas to solve conflicts in new or little known environments.
The last aim is to enhance the ability to a continuous learning in the field, which will be somehow autonomous and self orientated.
