The Postgraduate Programme in Telematic Engineering is an Inter-Universitary Programme taught by expert doctors in applications, networks and communication services from the Departments of Telematic Engineering in Universidad Carlos III de Madrid Carlos and Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya.

The Programme offers an advanced training in the field of Telematic Engineering. It includes theoretical and practical basis in applications, networks and communication services, protocol architectures, management of multimedia information, broadband networks, mobile communications, ubiquitous computation, Internet technologies etc, as well as advanced, state-of-the-art knowledge, giving rise to the latest associated technologies with a view to mid- and long-term implementation.

The inter universitary character allows the students to enjoy a wide and highly specialised thematic offer. Students are guided by expert professors in the key areas of communications technologies which build the internet and a new generation communication networks. To offer shared teaching, telematic means are available (high quality videoconferences) and so the students do not need to move to a different campus.

The Programme includes monographic seminars on selected topics, given by visiting researchers of international reputation. In this way, the program features courses specifically for the learning of research methods with which students may better approach a PhD after having obtained their masters, if wishing to take this option.
