The University Carlos III de Madrid offers a range of Graduate Programs adapted to the new European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The quality, innovation, international outlook and social commitment distinguish the University. The Graduate Program catalogue contains 59 MS degrees, 18 PhD degrees and 6 specialized courses.
The MS prepare students in specific knowledge areas, equipping them with the necessary skills and know-how for successful job placement or career change. The programs also provide academic or research specialization enabling students to pursue a career in either area.
The Doctoral programs provide advanced training in research techniques and in carrying out quality scientific contributions in the form of doctoral dissertations which the student must prepare and present. The University Carlos III de Madrid is the only university in Spain that has received the Quality Mention awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science for all of its PhD programs during the 2005/06 academic year, and ratified for 2007/08.
