The "Figuerola Lectures" are intended to promote new interdisciplinary perspectives among Economic History, Economic Development and other areas of social sciences.
The Institute is sponsoring the "Premio Figuerola", a generous prize of 1,500 euros is awarded biennially for the best article published in the European Review of Economic History, the journal of the European Historical Economic Society (EHES). The award is made during the Congress of the European Economic Historical Society.
