The University Carlos III of Madrid is strongly committed to internacional excellence, and hopes to encourage researchers in all the disciplines available at the university to join its research groups and departments so as to develop synergies and build up collaboration.
The scholarship program aims to promote short-term stays at the University Carlos III of Madrid for teachers and researchers who have recently obtained their PhD degree at another university in any of the university's departments and research groups fields of work. 20 fellowships are being offered in the departments listed in Appendix II. The first five selected persons will be financed by the Social Council of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
The call for these postdoctoral stays will be open until 28th of February of 2011. Applications will be evaluated based on the evalutaion reports prepared either by ANEP (National Agency for Faculty Evaluation) either by a comitee of researchers from other universities and research centres.
