This university-wide strategic faculty hiring initiative is projected to bring up to six new faculty members, including two possible endowed chair positions, to campus over the next three years, to develop key focus areas in the core fields of aerospace engineering.
The faculty hired through this initiative is expected to establish a vigorous, internationally competitive research program and to be committed to excellence, in both undergraduate and graduate education.
Applicants employing interdisciplinary and multi-scale approaches, coupled with new technological tools, those who complement existing strengths of the university and those with the potential to attract extramural research funding, are especially encouraged to apply.
