A key part of this initiative is a strong educational program at both undergraduate and graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) levels, designed to become nation-wide leader, supported by the new faculty of the Department of Aerospace Engineering.
The Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering has started in September 2010. The curriculum stresses general education, covering in sufficient depth all core aerospace subjects, including materials, structures, fluid mechanics and aerodynamics, propulsion and flight mechanics and control.
A Master in Aerospace Engineering
, with the same wide-spectrum orientation, is to be offered in the future, thereby completing the formal Spanish education requirements leading to the graduation of licensed engineers.
Currently, a Master in Aircraft Systems Integration , sponsored by EADS-Spain, prepares graduated students, and working professionals, for developing and leading projects of systems integration and for applying their skills to the future challenges of the aeronautical sector.
