Curriculum:
Miriam Sánchez-Manzanares is Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration at University Carlos III of Madrid. She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Complutense University of Madrid and her degree in Psychology from Autónoma University of Madrid. Also, she holds an M.A. in Human Resource Management. During her PhD she was visiting scholar at the Department of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at University of Groningen (The Netherlands) in 2005 and 2007.
She teaches Principles of Organization to undergraduate students in Business Administration, and Organizational Behavior in the MBA program.
Her research interests focus on the role of shared cognition and group learning in team effectiveness, team diversity and virtual teams. Her work has been published in leading journals including Journal of Management, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business and Psychology, and Psicothema.
In addition, she has served as an ad hoc reviewer for several international meetings and journals, such as Academy of Management Annual Meetings, Eastern Academy of Management International Annual Meetings and Revista de Psicología Social Aplicada.
