Fabrizio Cesaroni is Assistant Professor in Marketing at the Department of Business Administration at the Carlos III University in Madrid, where he teaches two undergraduate courses in Management Methods (Metodos de Gestion) and Marketing Research (Gestion Comercial). He is on leave from the University of Lecce (Italy), where he is Assistant Professor with tenure in Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Management of Innovation from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (Italy) and a Bachelor’s (Laurea) degree in Economics and Management from the University of Urbino (Italy).
His main research interests are focussed on Economics of Innovation, Technology Management, and Technology Commercialisation Strategies. His recent research is mostly concerned with patenting activity and technology exploitation strategies of small innovative firms. Part of his research is also focussed on the analysis of actions promoted by universities and other public research organisations in order to exploit and gain financial returns from the results of scientific research. His works were published both in international journals and in edited book chapters.
