After serving for three years as Deputy General Manager for Financial Management at the Ministry of Education and member of the Spanish delegation of Higher Education and Research Committee of the European Council in Strasburg, Dr. Camino returned in 1997 to Universidad Carlos III and started a new venture as the Director of the Master in Financial Analysis in its three versions (Spanish, English and on-line). In the meanwhile he has visited regularly several institutions of higher education in Spain (Almería, Granada, Seville), as well as in Argentina (Universidad de La Plata), Brazil (Ibmec), China (CEIBS), Costa Rica (Universidad Nacional), Germany (Phorzheim), Perú (Universidad del Pacífico and Universidad de Piura), the United Kingdom (University of Central England) and the U.S.A. (Arizona State University).
Professor Camino speaks fluent Spanish (mother tongue) and English, and can manage himself fairly well in Catalan, French, Italian and Portuguese. His research interests are mainly in the fields of Corporate and International Finance, as well as the Internationalization of Business.
