This degree trains graduates in the following areas:
- Professional: In-depth knowledge of the specific technologies related to communication networks (such as Internet) and telematics applications and services (such as Web services, e-mail…).and the ability to apply them in different environments Ability to access new knowledge in the specific area of technology related to communication networks and services and, in general, to telecommunications. Work habits and independent performance of responsibilities that have been taken on. Capacity of analysis and synthesis, and critical approach to technological reality. Capability of abstract reasoning regarding abstract systems, algorithmic reasoning. Capacity to coordinate and develop complex programming projects. Ability to work on a team and good organizational skills.
- Economic-business, which enables them to understand the focus of engineering as an economic activity carried out within a more general framework although preferably linked to the Information Society, ability to understand the underlying business model for communications-related technology
- Social-humanist, to exercise the profession in a collective environment (techniques of oral and written expression, languages, etc.), to know the reality of their professional environment (regulatory framework, regulation) and to gain awareness of the social dimension of their activities (security, environmental protection, professional ethics,...), from a critical point of view.
